Assignment Writing Tips
Discover how to compose a written assignment - good one! Below you will find several instructive and practical tips for writing your written assignment.
A good written assignment structure would be as follows:
1. Title page demonstrates the title of your paper, the author, the individual for whom this paper is prepared, and the completion date.
2. Summary will identify:
- the target of your work;
- the scope of the assignment - issues covered and not covered;
- the significant findings and results;
- The recommendations and conclusions;
- acknowledgement of help in researching and compiling your paper.
3. The table of contents does not include the contents page and title!
4. The main body includes:
- the introduction – about what is the report;
- discussion - parted into sections and subsections, represented clearly and restricted to fact than analysis/or opinion.
5. Conclusion should:
- relate back to the results in the main body of the paper;
- comprise an obvious summary of the major points;
- outline the results of the research.
Remember: There must be nothing in the assignment’s conclusion of that has not been mentioned in the main body of the paper.
6. Recommendations should:
- appear from the conclusions;
- propose what should be done, who should do it and how and when this must be done;
- be justified grounded on results, not only the opinion of yours.
7. Bibliography.
8. Appendices have supplementary material detailed for your main body like tables, charts, questionnaires, statistics, etc.
